Linda & Jon’s Engagement Session in Georgetown

Linda and Jon are troopers.  Their engagement session, which was rescheduled from the week before due to rain, was a smoldering 90+ degrees in crowded Georgetown on Memorial Day weekend.  The three of us sought out quiet streets and hidden nooks, and Linda and Jon slowly warmed up to the idea of being affectionate in front of the camera.  By the end of the shoot Jon was having a great time, laughing it up, showing lots of affection, and even recommending backgrounds.  I think some of the laughter and affection was making fun of the engagement photo process, but I am 100% okay with that.  Whatever it takes to get happy, great photos, I’ll take it.  :)

This was my first time visiting the stairs from the Exorcist.  They were just as cool as I had hoped, even though I’ve never seen the movie and probably never will (I don’t do horror movies).  After seeing those things in person, though, I am extremely impressed with people who use them for exercise.  Wow.
