As soon as I met Dani and Adam, I knew I was going to love them, their wedding, and being their photographer. They both have the biggest smiles, and they are so genuine and nice. They’re also fans of the best show on TV, So You Think You Can Dance, so I knew we were going to be friends from the beginning :)

It turns out Dani and Adam have crazy schedules and yesterday was the only time we could fit in their engagement pictures, rain or shine. It turned out to be a little bit of both – a little rain and some sunshine – and Dani, Adam, and their adorable dog, Perci, were absolute troopers. They sat on rainy steps and hid under trees during the downpour, and I think we got some great shots because of it :)

Dani graduated from the Naval Academy, so we started our session at the USNA chapel :)

Sally - Great images and I love the new blog.

I absolutely LOVED this wedding. First of all, Sasy and Tommy are a wonderful, laid-back, good-looking couple (Sasy’s porcelain skin is to die for!). They have been together for six years and are just so cute together, which made them very easy to photograph. There were so many other things I also loved about this wedding that I have to bullet them :)

  • The gorgeous church, St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church in DC. Stunning!
  • Sasy’s Mom, who is so adorable and wonderful. When I met Sasy, Tommy, and her Mom for the first time, our appointment ended with us looking over Sasy’s Mom and Dad’s wedding album from Puerto Rico. I loved that!
  • Columbia Country Club – one of my first weddings was held here and I have such good associations with this place because of it. Plus, Laura, the event coordinator is awesome.
  • The dancing!! This was a fun and lively group who danced before the meal even began. The live band, Sol y Rumba, was perfect!
