It was such a treat to not only photograph these two but to spend the afternoon with them.  I knew from their initial consultation that I was going to love both Sarah and Mike because they are easy to get along with and because they have great senses of humor.  These two laugh A LOT.  They make one another laugh all the time, and they are delighted to just be in one another’s company.  Seriously.  It’s adorable.  They met on eHarmony, which gives me complete respect for that site’s algorithms or mojo because Sarah and Mike are clearly meant to be together.  And Mike was Sarah’s first date through eHarmony, which is even more impressive and adorable.  I loved this session because we visited one of my absolute favorite DC neighborhoods, Eastern Market, where Sarah grew up (I cannot tell you how jealous that makes me!).  It is also the neighborhood where Mike proposed – at the Italian restaurant, Acqua Al 2 – which they will also get to visit in Florence on their Italian honeymoon next year.  Oy these two are cute together.  Congrats, Sarah + Mike!
